Actress and former MMA competitor Gina Carano has apparently been fired from her role as Cara Dune on the Star Wars television show The Mandalorian. Lucasfilm claims her termination was the result of controversial social media posts. She had been attacked by Cancel Culture several times before for her support of President Trump and simply speaking the truth when it came to our current toxic culture. Below is her most recent tweet and the one that most likely caused her firing.

There is a quote that is commonly attributed to George Orwell that says, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” I find no evidence Orwell ever said this, but that doesn’t make it any less correct. Strangely enough, Antonio Gramsci, one of the leading Italian Marxists said something similar.
“To tell the truth, to arrive together at the truth, is a communist and revolutionary act.“

This quote is actually fascinating, because it highlights how Marxists love to hide lies within kernels of truth. If you compare the supposed Orwell quote with Gramsci, they are nearly identical. The difference is that Gramsci associates truth with communism. This is exactly the kind of thing that is happening today within Cancel Culture. The woke left claims to have a monopoly on truth and therefore feels completely justified in rooting out anyone that disagrees with them, even actresses on what is effectively a silly science fiction show.
Truth cannot be associated with any particular political ideology. Truth simply IS. It doesn’t take much research to figure out that Gina Carano’s tweet above is 100% accurate. The Nazi’s created a culture where neighbor was turned against neighbor. The Marxists did the same a few decades before that. Authoritarian regimes rely on destroying the fabric of existing cultures and replacing them with hate. They make it impossible to “agree to disagree”.
